Del Ratcliffe; Founder, President and Broker-In-Charge

Del Ratcliffe has been a licensed Real Estate Broker for over 30 years.  He obtained his license while still attending High School in Mecklenburg County.  A third-generation Mecklenburg County Resident, he has extensive knowledge of the community history and the real estate market in general.  Over the years, he has specialized in all types of real estate development and brokerage, including single family construction, development of unique multi-family communities, and commercial investment-grade properties.  

In addition to being a licensed real estate broker, Del is a Class "A" member of the Professional Golfers Association of America, and is the current President of the North Carolina Chapter of the National Golf Course Owner's Association.  He owns Ratcliffe Golf Services, Inc., a full-service golf course management company based in Charlotte.  You can learn more about Ratcliffe Golf Services, Inc. by visiting www.charlottepublicgolf.com. 

In addition to his golf course business, Mr. Ratcliffe is President of Ratcliffe Construction Services, Inc., a North Carolina licensed general contracting firm.  This firm is active in all types of construction, from golf course construction and renovation to site work to residential and light commercial construction.

Del Ratcliffe served for six years on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission, and this role helped him develop a keene understanding of Land Use planning, and how our Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Department implements zoning ordinances to regulate growth in the Charlotte jurisdiction.  This knowledge is extremely valuable to all facets of the real estate business, and allow Mr. Ratcliffe to bring an exceptional value to the table in any property transaction.
